Who we are

Tourist SOS is an independent, not-for-profit organisation, providing information, reassurance and practical support, to help visitors deal with the problems they may face, - including travel document replacement, bank/credit card cancellation, reporting a crime to Gardai, rescheduling flights and other emergency support.

We provide assistance throughout Ireland via our website, and by phone, and in person in our two walk-in offices in central Dublin – located in O Connell Street and Pearse Street Garda Stations.

Tourist SOS has an extensive network of contacts in embassies, airlines, the tourism/hospitality industry and the Gardaí, to help visitors resolve their problems quickly and get back to enjoying their time in Ireland.

Our service is the only dedicated national service in Europe offering this specialist support to tourists and with 9 out of 10 tourists who experience an incident continuing with their holiday after support from Tourist SOS, it is testament to the positive outcomes that visitors experience after using the service.

Specialist support for international visitors.

International visitors who experience distressing incidents often lack a local support network, may have language issues and disrupted travel plans - and that's where Tourist SOS can make a real difference.
